Reflection about Programmed Learning and Autonomous Learning

Reflection about Programmed Learning and Autonomous Learning

During the first half of the semester, I have been fortunate to participate in various creative and educational projects that have broadened my skill set. Among these projects are creating quizzes on Quizizz, writing blog posts, developing questions for TED-Ed, and producing AI-generated videos and other multimedia content. These activities have not only allowed me to keep up with the material in class but also opened up new doors of opportunity for me to explore areas I was previously unfamiliar with.

One of the most exciting experiences has been learning how to create AI videos. Prior to this class, I had never attempted to make an AI video, though it had been something I had long dreamed of doing. I was always curious about how to bring ideas to life through technology, but I didn’t know where to start. This class gave me the tools and guidance to finally make that dream a reality. I learned not only the technical aspects of video creation but also how to harness the power of AI to enhance the process. Producing AI videos has been one of the most valuable experiences for me, as it opened my eyes to the potential of AI in creative media. This skill is something I will carry forward, especially as I look toward future projects and aspirations.

Another significant project was learning how to create quizzes on Quizizz. I had always been curious about the behind-the-scenes process that teachers use to design engaging and educational quizzes. In this class, I was able to learn the step-by-step process of quiz creation, from formulating questions to understanding how to structure quizzes in a way that enhances learning. This has been an insightful experience, especially as I plan to use this knowledge in the future for my second PLP (Praktik Lapangan). Now, I feel confident that I can create meaningful assessments that not only test knowledge but also foster a fun and interactive learning environment.

Writing a blog was another pastime I was hesitant to try at first. I had never written a blog before, and my first assumption was that it was similar to posting on social media or YouTube, where the content is more casual and conversational. However, this lesson soon taught me that blogging necessitates a distinct skill set. It's about communicating ideas in a structured, intelligent, and engaging way that differs from social media updates. Blogging has encouraged me to communicate my thoughts more clearly and consider how to deliver information in an understandable manner to readers. It's been a learning experience that's helped me grasp how writing can be both educational and personal.

Another site I worked with was TED-Ed, where I created questions that prompted viewers to think critically about the topics at hand. This was another first for me, and I found it to be a very rewarding exercise. Creating these questions requires me to go deeply into the content and consider how best to challenge and educate others. It has improved my capacity to assess content and turn that analysis into questions that prompt additional investigation.

Looking back, the first half of the semester has been really enriching. I've learned new abilities in AI video production, quiz building, blogging, and content development, all of which I had no previous experience with. These encounters have enabled me to explore new areas of creativity and learning
